Up for auction are 2 albums from the Beatles. My wife was a Beatle fan 35 years ago and has kept these since the 60's. They are in good shape.
I am a reputable bookseller and sell first editions on Ebay. I am now retired and my wife agreed to sell her albums to add to our moving expenses. She actually went to a concert in 1964 at Forest Hills Stadium in NY where she saw them play.
This album, Meet the Beatles is their very first issued in the U.S. She bought it immediately then and listened constantly. It is the original on the Capitol label. It is signed by John Lennon.
We are also selling The Beatles Again, circa 1968, and signed by John Lennon.
Both albums were signed in the later 1970s when we lived in Manhattan for a while. John Lennon lived at the Dakota and often signed for his fans who waited outside, which we did.
I have covered them with plastic. They are used but as rare as can be. The price I am asking is for 2 albums, if you want just one, let me know your best offer.
