Description
Up for auction is an album by the great McCoy Tyner entitled Extensions on Blue Note. The matrix on side A is BNLA006 A-1B T and is stamped Van Gelder. The cover has some dings at each of the corners and some surface wear but it looks like a strong VG to me. The album has some marks, none of them can be felt, so I'm going VG also.
If you have any questions or want me to play it before you bid, please do! I know this album is not cheap so I want whomever buys this to be confident in their purchase.
This auction, and the others listed, are for a friend who was laid-off from Covid last year. He recently gained employment but is way behind on his bills thus the sale of albums.
As a vinyl collector myself, I have tried to be very picky about the grading. I hate negative surprises. So I would say my grading is pretty stringent (actually, I know it is after seeing some of the stuff I’ve received eBay pretty generously graded).
If something is sealed, that doesn’t necessarily mean it is mint. If there are issues like a bent corner, I will note defects on sealed items.
If something is important to you, please ask. On opened vinyl I don’t guarantee that the inner sleeves are original (especially on releases that are older than me). If you need pictures, I will happily send them.If you want me to listen to it on my turntable, I'll put it on and let you know what I hear.
I will be using mailers from my eBay purchases (as long as they last) that are suitable for reuse. I will combine shipping so if you buy multiple items, wait until I send you an invoice before you pay.
Finally, I’m not accepting offers as I’ve tried to price everything extremely fairly. He has a number we are trying to reach. Once it is reached, we might pull the remaining auctions so don’t wait to buy! We have rock, punk, jazz and everything in between to list. Some of the albums might need a good cleaning but the descriptions will note the flaws.
