The first Beatles “solo” album? At least the first pressing to feature a Beatle away from the band perhaps, but never the less it’s an album of music by Paul McCartney.

More for us Beatle completist, the two albums offered in this listing contain the same music with both the original MONO mix (on the 1967 US FIRST PRESSING) & the STEREO mix being offered on the SEALED 2015 Record Store Day 180gram UK Sleeved version.
The 1967 USA pressing, released via London Records, features The George Martin Orchestra interpitating the McCartney penned music. The condition of this album is VG with the vinyl playing smoothly and the Original Cover showing some wear but nothing to bad. It’s not mint but very solid. The cover surface is relatively clean and intact. There are no seam splits. The spine is starting to Frey a bit but it’s still legible and there is no missing material. The vinyl is in near perfect condition with no marks to speak of.
The SEALED RSD Stereo version is pressed onto 180gram vinyl and is in great condition with one bend located at the front, lower right of the cover. I’m sure the enclosed vinyl plays perfectly.
I hope this 2-fer will allow a fellow collector to finally give a listen to this obscure Beatles related and George Martin directed music. Honestly speaking I’m not spinning this on my turntable as often as say Abbey Road, but it does have some interesting passages.
