1956 33 1/3 rpm vinyl LP release by legendary Jazz vocalist, Maxine Sullivan. Sullivan appears here at the peak of her vocal powers with an allstar group led by the great Charlie Shavers. Album was in part produced by Jazz booster, Leonard Feather, who writes the liner notes. This LP, the second of two Maxine made for period, is a tribute to the music of Fats Waller & Andy Razaf (his manager and lyric writer!) Both volumes are extremely rare, with volume two generally fetching more coin. Copy at hand is an original first press 1956 Period LP-not a reissue-in fabulous condition!

Cover is extremely well-preserved with only the slightest bit of wear. No stains, tears, splits, writing, etc. Cover grade is Near Mint.
Disc (heavy 'deep groove' vinyl) is extemely clean with high gloss. Vinyl surface displays zero scratches but does show 3 light spindle marks which do not affect play in the slightest. Disc plays MINT with almost no surface noise and rich, clear sound!
