Description
Maroon label with silver text, deep groove. 6 tracks with leader, Max Roach, drums; Hank Mobley, tenor sax; Walter Davis Jr.,piano; Frank Skeete, bass.
Cover: Mint(-) The cover is intact and clean. It shows no aging and is new in appearance. Possibly this is not the original jacket but one that exactly copies the original.
Record: VG+ Visually shows very light wear. 1 significant rub "spot" on Track 3, Side A. This "spot" covers slightly more than 1/2 of the Track, the noise is slight. This Track is Roach's drum solo.No further noise on Side A. Side B has 2 or 3 faint, short surface rub marks and a very slight, brush-like surface rub spot. Side B, Track 1 has 3 clicks on the first 3 or 4 revolutions. No further noise on Track 1, none on Track 2. On Track 3 has the following: 3 clicks on the first few revolutions, 3 isolated clicks; several clicks midtrack ; 2 or 3 clicks at the end of the Track. I have thoroughly described the condition. Audibly checked.
