Maroon label with silver text, deep groove. 6 tracks with leader, Max Roach, drums; Hank Mobley, tenor sax; Walter Davis Jr.,piano; Frank Skeete, bass.
Cover: Mint(-) The cover is intact and clean. It shows no aging and is new in appearance. Possibly this is not the original jacket but one that exactly copies the original.
Record: VG+ or Better Visually shows very light wear. 1 significant rub "spot" on Track 3, Side A that affects most of the Track. Otherwise, there are only 2 or 3 faint, short, surface rub marks. These marks are barely visible. There is slight noise that repetes over the described "spot". The noise is very light. This track is a drum solo by Roach. No other noise on Side A. There are no markings on Side B. There are 4 light clicks on the first 2 or 3 revolutions on Track 1, several light clicks on Track 3 with slight groove noise on 2 revolutions. Fine overall sound and condition with the limited noise described. Audibly checked.
