Max Roach Percussion Bitter Sweet 1961 Impluse! LP Mono A-8 Gatefold Play Tested VG. Such great music! Definitely plays with surface noise especially at the start groove and throughout. Mostly gets better as it gets to the center, but still has surface noise. Record has scuffs, scratches, but no skips. I think I heard one tick on Side 1, but it could be some deep dirt. This album had been hand cleaned more than once. I don't know if an ultrasonic cleaning might help, but it can't hurt. For me, the music is so amazing that the surface noise is not killing the vibe of this monumental album. Gatefold album jacket is VG+ with some minor pealing (front bottom left), seam split in gatefold inner, pen scribble on back of cover and general wear for an album cover from 1961. Comes with new anti-static, rounded inner sleeve. Album hand cleaned with Tergikleen (used by the Library of Congress), Kimtech Wipes (Low Lint, Anti Static), Distilled Water and Brushed with an Anti-Static Brush. Please see all pics for condition.
