Masters Apprentices Rare WRC LP Masterpiece EX '74 S5141 Psyche Garage Rock
Rare OZ World Record club Edition LP released in 1974. Cat: S5141. Features rare alternate cover art.
Uncovered in the out back of N.S.W. this record is part of a recent collection stored and unplayed for the last 20 years. Collected during the 90's and mostly sourced from overseas kept in a cool dry cellar there are some tasty gems on offer and we look forward to listing them over the next few months. All records have been professionally cleaned and play tested and graded conservatively.
The Master's Apprentices (or The Masters to fans) were an Australian pop/rock band formed in 1965 in Adelaide, South Australia. Featuring singer Jim Keays and songwriter/rhythm guitarist Mick Bower, the band's earliest recordings combined the gritty R&B/rock of British groups like The Pretty Things with the minor-key melodies of The Yardbirds. Bower left the group in late 1967. Plagued by instability (undergoing eight personnel changes between 1966 and 1968), the group moved to England in the early 1970s, achieving some cult success with progressive rock albums before breaking up in 1972. Second album release featuring the singles 5:10 man and Linda Linda. Line-up Doug Ford, Glenn Wheatley, Colin Burgess & Jim Keays.

There are some light spindle marks and age spots on labels. Record has a few light scuff marks that cause a few light crackles and is in Excellent condition. Cover has light ring wear, a small surface tear and mark on top right corner, some light marks and is in VG+ condition.
Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.

Post method for overseas: All parcels are sent via Australia Post standard airrmail with tracking number.
