Description

Here we have Mary Hopkin with a lovely vinyl LP “Those Were The Days” on Apple SAPCOR 23.  This is the RARE first version, with only “Those Were The Days” listed on the front.

Later, they listed “Knock, Knock Who’s There?” as well.

The disc is well worth buying for the beautiful stereo version of Gallagher & Lyle’s “Sparrow” which was, in my opinion, the best recording she ever made (and I’m an old bloke and consequently NEVER WRONG).

The disc is remarkably clean and plays very well.

It’s a very strong VG++ or better.

The matt-finish sleeve is less exquisite, having some storage marks, so let’s call it a pretty good VG+.

You will also get the disc in a new top quality paper inner sleeve.

You’ll get the original Apple inner sleeve too, which consists of an exciting bit of white folded paper with “Apple” printed on it.

(This flimsy paper inner is about VG or better... you’ll have to iron it.)

Here’s yer track list:-

Those Were The Days

Que Sera Sera

The Fields Of St Etienne

Kew Gardens

Temma Harbour

Think About Your Children

Knock Knock Who's There

Heritage

Sparrow (Best thing she ever did, I reckon)

Lontano Degli Occhi

Goodbye

I am not a dealer.

I am just a very old bloke thinning out his lifetime collection of STUFF before the floor collapses.

I'm selling most of this stuff for much less than I paid for it.

What a great business plan (I don't think)!

The vinyl LP in the photograph is the Vinyl LP you will get.

If you buy more than one record off me,

I will reduce the total price accordingly.

I have described the item to the best of my ability, and everything looks in splendid condition to me.

Please check the photographs to decide for yourself.

PAYPAL only Please.

NO OVERSEAS bidders please.

And NO OVERSEAS bidders using UK addresses please.

I want my buyers to be happy bunnies, and if there is any sort of problem, I like to sort it out personally.

I can’t do this if you’re thousands of miles away!
