Description
TAMPA TP28. Black and silver label, deep groove, red vinyl. 9 tracks includes Frank Capp, drums and Buddy Clark, bass. One of Pepper’s finest performances enhanced by the fine interplay with Marty Paich. Very rare edition. Cover: VG+. Front cover is white with some shaded brown aging, mostly along the insert edge. I believe that TAMPA later issued this with a lavender label. The cover in both issues has the same design but this issue which I believe is original, has a white background color. 1” top edge split at insert edge. Back cover shows some aging. Small tear on the bottom corner with a small triangular shaped paper los. This is small and does not affect the notes. Record: VG+. Visually shows only light wear with a few light brush-like marks. There is some light background noise on a few tracks. Side 2 has a lesser amount. This noise is at a low level and is only minimally distracting. Audibly checked.
