Description
This rare roots reggae release offers a powerful sonic exploration of social justice through the heavy bass and pointed lyrics of Martin Campbell and the Hi Tech Roots Dynamics team. Released during the winter of two thousand six and seven as part of a limited edition series on the Log On label this ten inch colored vinyl showcases the distinct sound of the Channel One UK studio.
The striking cover art depicts a stark contrast between military machinery and human struggle reflecting the poignant themes of the title tracks while the back cover provides deep context regarding global conflict and humanitarian crises. Listeners will find a masterclass in dub production with vocal instrumental and heavy dub versions that carry the executive production seal of Jo Jo Hookim.
As a limited pressing this record represents a significant moment in modern UK reggae history blending the traditions of high tech roots with urgent contemporary commentary for the dedicated vinyl collector.
