The album contains hidden messages on the inserts that are viewable by placing the blue vinyl record over the message. On the first insert, it says "yellow and blue = green" which is how one can read these messages.
The running order is unique to this format, reflecting the division of the tracks into distinct albums: 'Mechanical Animals' by Marilyn Manson, and 'Omega and the Mechanical Animals', which is presented as a production by Manson's alter ego Omega, who appears on the sleeve of the second LP.
