Description
Marillion Marbles vinyl limited edition, only 500 made. Number 220. Double album. Gatefold sleeve. White marbled vinyl. Condition is VG/EX. It has been played once in 2004. Removed records from inner sleeve to take photographs. There are a few scuffs on the outer sleeve. All four corners have a tiny bit of wear especially the outer corners. There are several white scuffs along the spine. The gatefold has a small arc shaped scuff on the inside due to storage. On visual inspection the record has small imperfections due to pressing, for instance a small raised area on the very outside possibly where the molten vinyl pulled up inside the mold, and today I found two matt textured areas that coincide with the black colours in the marbled vinyl. It is hard to see much detail due to the light colour of the vinyl. I have play tested it today, on 12th January 2021. There are audible pops in the quiet passages of Invisble Man and Fantastic Place that appear to coincide with the aforementioned small matt textured vinyl on the surface. Hence regraded to VG (https://blog.discogs.com/en/how-to-determine-the-condition-of-a-vinyl-record/) although these defects are due to the pressing. Selling to help raise money to buy a professional level trumpet for my son who is studying for his Grade 8. Dispatched with Royal Mail Special Delivery within the UK or can be sent by courier to EU countries.
