Description

Nice copy of my favorite funk LP ever. I searched for years to find one, and now I have three. As great as it is, I can't justify that.

Cover on this copy is solid VG+. There is ring wear, but less than usual. There is also a stain running perhaps five inches down the front cover (visible near the "u" in Queenie and through the "ons" in Lyons). The back cover has ring wear, and the slick is protruding a bit at the bottom, due to the sloppy manufacturing common to all King products. All seams are intact, which is unusual for this LP.

Disc is strong VG+, approaching EX. There are a few scuffs, particularly at the beginning of side two, but no deep or problematic marks. Labels have only a few spindle marks, and disc retains nice gloss. Disc plays EX, with no real problems. Sound quality is not the best, because it is a King, but it is far better than the flat-sounding reissues that are proliferating now.

A very strong copy of a rare and great funk LP.

U.S. shipping is $7.00 by priority mail, plus the cost of optional insurance. Overseas shipping is by airmail only, usually at $12.00 to Europe and $14.00 to Japan. Overseas bidders must use Paypal. I prefer U.S. bidders to also use Paypal, though other methods work as well.
