Marc Bolan Page of Handwritten Prose/Poetry Signed And Dated 1966
This is a genuine original handwritten page from one of Marc Bolan's own notebooks.In the mid 1980s, I bought three notebooks from a collection that had been sold at one of the first rock memorabilia auctions. Over the next eight years, I broke up one of the notebooks and sold it off page by page, usually framed and glazed with period photos of Marc. In 1993, around the time of my last record fairs, I sold the remaining intact notebooks to a well known Bolan collector who is also a famous guitarist and producer.
A short time ago, while clearing through archive boxes, I discovered this page carefully protected in an acetate sleeve.
I'm sorry that I can't show the entire page but obviously that would diminish its value and open up the possibility of it being copied, reproduced for even forged.
