Description

A 1st pressing of Mann Made Hits from 1966 on UK HMV label. Matrix 2/2. Stampers 1M/1M - inferring it's from within the first 2,000 copies ever made. The record comes housed in an original Garrod & Lofthouse cover including patents applied for white inner.
Vinyl (Ex+) In superb shape and has clearly only seen light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an Excellent+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. The fact that this is such an early cut direct from the mono masters is clearly doing the audio no harm at all! It's truly a superb level of playback. We detected very little interference - a couple of crackles in the odd place very little at all in reality.
Cover (Ex) Has clearly been looked after and belies it's 50 years of age. Nice and shiny front without marks or creases. The rear is in similar condition with just the lightest of ageing. Please note there is a signature in the top right corner. Edge wear is minimal and the spine is entirely intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex) Fine with no splits.
