Description

This is the third and final LP by Mandrake Memorial, released in the US on Poppy PYS 40006. This fairly obscure Philadelphia band had a unique sound of their own and are instantly recognizable thanks mainly to Randy Monaco's vocal style (and trebly bass sound) and the quirky keyboards of Michael Kac. This LP seems to be the ultimate expression of their style and approach, and is well worth investigating. Not currently unavailable on CD (officially).

Comes with the original 'curl-up' insert.

Tracks are:
Side 1:

   1. Earthfriend Prelude
   2. Earthfriend
   3. Just A Blur (version 1)
   4. Hiding
   5. Just A Blur (version 2)
   6. Tadpole
   7. Kyrie
   8. Ocean's Daughter

Side 2:

   1. Volcano Prelude
   2. Volcano
   3. Whisper Play
   4. Bucket Of Air
   5. Children's Prayer
   6. Puzzle
   7. Just A Blur (version 3)

Condition: Vinyl is in VG+ condition, with good shine, no wear, just a few minor surface marks, and no spindle marks. Unfortunately this is a noisy pressing, and surface noise is fiarly constant throughout the record. It is mostly only noticeable during quiet sections. There are also a couple of audible light scratches on side 2.

Sleeve is VG++. This sturdy gatefold sleeve shows only slight ring wear. The gatefold interior is in excellent shape, so is the spine. No tears or sticker marks.

Shipping in the USA will be USPS Media Mail, unless otherwise requested by the buyer. International shipping will be at cost and will vary according to the destination country.
