Yet another holy grail of the blues world. A true first pressing of the first release from Arhoolie. There were only 250 of these pressed in 1960. Chris Strachwitz, his wife, and two of their friends hand pasted these pieces at Chris's kitchen table. He sold these first pieces out of the trunk of his car to record shops and radio stations. It's unclear how many pieces from the first run have survived, but to say they're rare would be the understatement of the century. Especially in this condition. With the documentary on Chris and Arhoolie coming out this piece is surely going to go up in value. Don't miss out on this chance to own a true piece of music history.
