Mal Waldron (with Calo Scott, Elvin Jones, Julian Euell, Eric Dixon, Art Farmer) MAL-3 / SOUNDS PRESTIGE 8201, RECORDED 1957. Deep groove Bergenfield label. Glossy laminated jacket is E+: Very strong and clean all over: paper tear on top and bottom spines for 3”.Corners all very handsome. Disc looks E+; two fingerprints on edge. Surface sounds a little bit chewy: E- overall. Low-level chatter never completely goes away, though it’s from the pressing; amost no wear.
