Mahler Symphony 9 Klemperer UK Columbia SAX 5281 2 LPs
Otto Klemperer conducts the New Philharmonia in the Mahler Symphony No. 9. A two record set, this is an English stereo pressing on the Columbia Label (SAX 5281/2). The labels are red with a large fan-shaped Columbia Logo, and Made in Great Britain at 6 o’clock. Record one has a couple of prominent scuffs and smaller marks, on side one in the main, and plays and sounds superb with some surface noise and the odd click. Record two is of excellent appearance, and play and sound superb with some surface noise. The covers have rubbed a little with a slight ring and a couple of creases in the laminate.
