Here's a rare test pressing of a rare record. This is Mahler Das Lied von der Erde featuring Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau and Murray Dickie with the Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Paul Kletzki. Also featured on the fourth side is "Adagietto" from the Symphony No. 5

This set features 4 one-sided LPs that are all labeled as HMV Long-Playing Test Records and Made in England. The stampers are 2 YEA 391-2, 2 YEA 392-2, 2 YEA 390-4, and 2YEA 393-1.  The music and the stampers correspond with the highly sought after the HMV stereo LP ASD 351.

Condition - These have been stored in paper sleeves. The labels are stamped as "stereo," and some labels have some writing in pencil. The records have some shine, but they have also accumulated several marks over the years. The playable sides of the records grade between VG to VG+ by sight.

Please note, I started to auction three of these records a few weeks ago, but then cancelled the auction after I found the fourth record. That was the only problem with the previous offering, if you were watching that one.

Regarding shipping - I ship quickly using new professional grade materials.

Regarding grading - I try to grade by Goldmine standards. I do not use the grade Mint on unsealed, opened records. The highest grade I give to unsealed records is Near Mint. Grading here is strictly by sight.

Please let me know if you have any questions, and please check out my other audiophile auctions!
