MADNESS GREY DAY 12" SPECIAL JAPANESE EDITION.
This is sold including the original insert and obi sash, in fantastic condition.
Six track 12" which includes the following tracks: -
A Side. Grey Day. The Young And The Old. The Business.
B Side. Don't Quote Me On That. Deceives The Eye. That's The Way To Do It.
The original half round plastic internal sleeve is there and is fully intact
The card board sleeve is in great condition with a couple of small dents on two corners and marks along the opening edge. Please see attached photos.
The record plays well except for two jumps on the A side. Once during Grey Day and once between track two & three. Otherwise the vinyl is in really good condition.
The paper sash (I believe it's called an "obi sash") is still on the card board sleeve and is in near perfect condition.
The record comes in the original plastic sleeve that I bought it with, which has a small sticker on the one corner of it. This sticker relates to the importation licence. (see picture) I've never seen one being sold that has this sticker?
The record has been kept in an additional protective plastic record sleeve, which will be supplied and all items have been stored in a smoke & pet free environment.
The fact that the round centre paper labels on the record, are much bigger than normal for this era, makes this an interesting item in itself. Maybe that's how most 12" singles were produced for the Japanese market back in the early 80's? I've never seen one before is all I know.
