Description

This is the 2nd LP, same year as the first Madhouse LP
1987 side project from Prince and Eric Leeds. Already averaging an album a year, and releasing the double album Sign Of The Times in this year, the Madhouse LP slipped out with a lot of misinformation about who Madhouse were. Thos in the know said it was Prince so some fans bought it, but little was known for sure. Madhouse as a side project crop up a bit throughout the next 10 years, or at least the same group of musicians sometimes called Madhouse, sometimes not.
I've added photos of an article in Wax Poetics just for your information. The magazine is listed separately right now on ebay. There are wiki pages dedicated to Madhouse if you want any more info.
hard to find
Vinyl is MINT  Sleeve has no splits or problems, original plain white inner
I hate to feel like I could look like I'm cashing in on the tragic death of one of my musical heroes, but if you follow my account you'll know I've been selling my Prince collection over the last few months.
There's concert programmes, vinyl and CDs to come over the next week so if you're a fan please look at my other items.
This item will be posted with tracking/signature. Message me with any questions, thanks
NOTE TO WATCHERS I'm selling privately and through other channels. I will end auctions early if I sell elsewhere and have no eBay bids. The only way to ensure this does not happen is to place a bid.
ABOUT THE SELLER I've been on eBay since 2003 under the user name mearsi.  This 'wooltonvillagefete' account is relatively new, set up just to sell my records, books and music memorabilia. My feedback is consistently positive.
Record grading: Mint - no visible marks, sometimes I know it's unplayed. I rarely use this as even an unplayed mass produced record can have defects EX - maybe some marks from the sleeve, but nothing that would affect the sound/play VG - maybe a mark or two, and maybe light scuff that you'd hear, but only one or two on an otherwise EX disc G - it's going to have some pops and crackles from surface marks, but the price will reflect that you're getting a good record not a perfect one Poor - not going to be played often anymore but there are some records that are so rare you'll take any copy just to fill a gap. Or the sleeve/label is nice etc
CDs that were originally in 'Jewel cases' have often been stored in plastic sleeves to minimise the space my 5000 CDs take up. That sometimes means the back piece of paper with the track listing has been folded to the same size as the CD booklet. If and when that is the case you'll see a fold in the photos. By having them in these plastic sleeves though they are easier/cheaper to post. I'm based in Sydney and pick-up or meeting is always an option.
COMBINED LOTS & POSTAGE Firstly - eBay estimates are not always right. If an item is large and/or heavy please bear in mind the postage might be more than eBay suggests. Message me if you have questions about that as I have posted a lot of items now to many different countries and can give estimates based on other items.  Secondly, I pack records how I like to receive them - very well - which sometimes adds to the weight and costs, but does ensure you don't get a broken record in the post. If you are bidding on multiple lots I am happy to wait until you're done before invoicing. I send with tracking which adds $3 within Australia.
As a rough guide, posting within Australia an LP costs $10.40, a double or 3 LPs costs $17.50 with tracking.
International buyers - the bigger a package gets, and the heavier it gets obviously the postage adds up. Please wait for a final invoice before paying if you're getting more than one or two records/CDs as eBay sometimes quotes too low.
