Description

Experience the raw and unpolished versions of Mac Demarco's second official release for Captured Tracks. A must-have for any lo-fi enthusiast, these demos reveal a gritty and rougher side to the more polished tunes found on 2. From the kitchen table drums of "Cooking Up Something Good" to the sparkling guitars and tongue-click drums of "The Stars Keep On Calling My Name," these recordings exude a sense of energy and passion. And let's not forget about the lo-fi gem "Dreamin' Fast" and its woozy screwtape counterpart "Dreamin' Slow." Plus, you won't want to miss the instrumental "Harrison Ford Escort" (later transformed into the hit "Freaking Out The Neighborhood") and the alternate demo "My Kind Of Woman." Don't wait - grab the limited edition repress on seafoam green vinyl and celebrate the 10th anniversary of Captured Tracks with this essential addition to your music collection.
