Description
BEAUTIFUL RARE copy in FACTORY SHRINK with Orig. LYRICS Insert. Shrink wrap looks great, with minor signs of shrink wear, seemingly only at the left corner where 1/2" perforation at corner. The vinyl shines as if freshly pressed - if any marks they would have to be of the most minor nature like maybe superficial and tiny discolorations from private press manufacturing - I'd grade the vinyl HI, dare I say Near-Mint. NO spindle marks on side 1, and minimal on side 2. Probably played one or two tracks and stored away for some 38 years to awaken from the fate of being born ahead-of-its-time and consciousness. Has orig. Double-sided LYRICS INSERT. With original generic inner sleeve. RARE Original 1975 Pressing, not like the many RE-Pressings that are out there - you will notice that the RE-ISSUES listed try to fool the buyer by putting the orig. date on the listing and/or not revealing the orig. orange vinyl label as I have presented in my main photo.
This is an original copy of this small private press solo record still in the ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP and complete with the original LYRICS INSERT.
Myke Jackson was a founding member of heralded band FELT - an Alabama Bluesy Psych band, that put out a record in 1971.
This solo album was recorded in Alabama.
Myke designed and illustrated the sleeve and played all the instruments on this record (except violin on a track) including all the mellotron parts.
A great HARD-TO-FIND ORIGINAL psych pop gem not likely to turn up in this condition any time soon and certainly not at a low price as the VINYL RENAISSANCE is here and our ears yearn for the creativity of these OBSCURE past releases that speak to our souls with power.

It is stated that Only 1000 copies of the album were pressed when it came out in 1975, making original copies almost impossible to track down.
...More so when discovered in the ORIG. Shrink Wrap.
