ARTIST: Musica Elettronica Viva
TITLE: s/t (aka Friday)
LABEL: Polydor 583 769
YEAR: 1969

CONDITION: EX-/NM- - VERY NICE copy. Sleeve has very few flaws - some slight ringwear and mild lamination cracks. There's also a price sticker in the top right corner which I haven't tried to remove (will let the winning bidder do this).
Vinyl gleams like it is fresh from the pressing plant - unbelievable for a 43 year old record. It may even be unplayed. I played a few mins from the start and there is a LITTLE occaisional background noise, maybe from the pressing or the odd bit of dirt. There is a little storage dirt on the vinyl, mostly visible on the run off grooves. I haven't tried to clean it as, with a disc of this rarity, it should really be done on a professional vinyl cleaner which I do not have access to. There are no scratches except a few very light hairlines from the inner sleeve (which is poly lined anyway). The poly sleeve doesnt seem to have "sweated" the vinyl much, if at all, which is rare for a record of this era which has been kept unplayed in storage for a long time.
In short, an unbelievably pristine copy - SEE PHOTOS.

DESCRIPTION Needless to say, a very rare avant-garde LP. Despite being on a major label, very few copies were pressed and it hardly ever shows up today. Only in the late 60s would a major label dare to release such a record!
Musica Elettronica Viva's reputation in avant-garde circles speaks for itself and this, their first album, is one of their best. Both sides contain a single, near-psychedelic, droning improvisation for brass and electronic instruments. A classic of its genre.
