The world famous KPM "Greensleeves" or 1000 series LPs were recorded in the ‘60s and ‘70s by the crème de la crème of the session musicians of the time. The collection has a uniquely British sound and captures the essence of the 60s and 70s. This series includes incredibly funky music that has become a cult source of samples and breaks for commercial artists and record producers worldwide including such stellar industry names as Gnarls Barkley, Nelly and Jay-Z.
The music written by KPM's composers was intended for use as signature tunes or incidental music in film and television. [3] Notable examples include the theme tunes for Mastermind, ITV News At Ten, Monday Night Football and Whicker's World.
