Description
This is the Muddy Waters & Howlin’ Wolf LP titled “Muddy & The Wolf” released in 1982 on Chess Records catalog number CH8200. This is a white label promotional copy, a very rare version of this LP.
Side 1 is a Muddy Waters set recorded in Chicago with Muddy accompanied by Mike Bloomfield, Paul Butterfield, Duck Dunn, Otis Spann and Sam Lay. Side 2 features Howlin’ Wolf recorded in London, England with Wolf accompanied by Eric Clapton, Steve Winwood, Bill Wyman, Charlie Watts, Hubert Sumlin and Ian Stewart
The record and labels are in beautiful condition. It looks and plays like a brand new record. The gatefold jacket has very slight wear on the corners but is otherwise in near mint condition.
I will pack the record outside of the jacket to protect jacket integrity and ship in a sturdy LP mailer with cardboard inserts and bubble wrap for further protection.
