ELECTRIC DOOBIELAND
for aficionados and admirers of fine vinyl
Muddy Waters - Folk Singer (Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab MFSL 1-201) 1987
Jacket: Still Sealed Vinyl: Still Sealed Inner/Extras: SS Protective cardboard/inserts/static-free inner sleeve
Beautiful 200 gram audiophile pressing of Muddy's '64 classic still sealed in the loose factory bag! All the heavy protective packaging is intact and the gatefold jacket is clean and straight - a small lite corner crease bottom right and one or two tiny whitish spots of shelf wear are the only flaws. Special Limited Edition # 11220 is embossed in gold on the back cover bottom left. Recorded in 1963 with just Muddy and a young Buddy Guy on guitars, and Willie Dixon (who else?) on upright bass, this is a seminal album in the history of American Music and one of Muddy's finest sessions. Returning to his traditional acoustic delta blues roots after defining electric blues for generations of musicians - just walk into any "blues bar" in Chicago, Detroit, Memphis or wherever tonight and you'll hear the template his 50s bands laid down; now that's a long shadow! - this is a more mature (yet still raw when he wants to be) artist than the one Alan Lomax first recorded in Mississippi in 1941. These great songs never sounded better than here; half-speed mastered and pressed on super high-definition 200 gram virgin vinyl for superior sound quality. This is a fine collectible in top notch still sealed condition that is guaranteed to rise in value over time - due to its value insurance is highly recommended. Enjoy!

Some important information:
I am a serious collector and I don't sell anything that I wouldn't play for my own listening enjoyment. At the same time I'm not going to brag about my grading genius, or hustle people about how no one used profanity in or near the pristine environment that my records were stored in, or how they were acquired from a hermit who only played them once to tape them (unless it's true!). The sub-heading at the top of the page says it all - I sell fine vinyl.
All records are packed professionally in proper record mailers. They are placed in poly outer-sleeves outside the album cover to prevent seam-splits, often in an extra inner sleeve, especially in the case of custom original sleeves which need extra protection. They are then placed in between two stiff cardboard inserts with an additional square of bubble wrap outside of the vinyl side. Edges and seams are then neatly sealed with quality tape for maximum protection. Sealed records are packed with similar care. I do not skimp on packaging - no improvised french-fry boxes stuffed with newspaper from this dealer! All orders are shipped via Priority Mail after payment so that you receive your item, or items in a timely manner. If you win multiple items I will provide you with a shipping discount of $1.00 for each additional LP, $1.50 for each additional Double LP. Outside the U.S. combined orders will be discounted fairly on a case-by-case basis.
