Description

  1. Chess Records 1449, this is an original mono pressing of the classic Muddy Waters LP "At Newport".  This pressing has the black and silver Chess labels with the ridge about an inch and a half away from the spindle hole. Jacket is VG+, showing some rubbing/handling on both sides; there are no splits, but there is some paper flaking along bottom right edge. LP is about VG/VG- visually, showing a good amount of scuffs/marks and some small scratches on either side. Playback is about VG+, with some crackle/pops at times, but no skips or repeats; I found it an enjoyable listen, as background noise is never overpowering. Labels shows some spindle lines on either side. Buyer pays $4.00 media mail shipping in the US; sorry, no international shipping addresses on this item. Thanks for looking and good luck!
