Description
"He's the one they call Dr. Feelgood, he's the one that makes you feel alright!"
Mötley Crüe released their fifth studio album in 1989, and called it 'Dr. Feelgood'. The artwork from the cover is insane, and the title track rocks. Hard! The band was firing on all cylinders, and I saw them on tour, with Lita Ford opening the show. Lita, of course, looked and sounded great, and rocked, and the 'Nasty Habits' backup singers/dancers Emi Canyn and Donna McDaniel were once again helping out the bad boys of rock and roll. Emi passed away in 2017. (RIP Emi. You had immense talent and was taken from us much too soon. You are missed!)
My last and final copy of the Crüe's fifth album is available today on a sweet 12' picture disc, complete with original jacket and inner sleeve! That inner sleeve contains song lyrics, credits, and more pics. The album includes contributions from several guest musicians such as Jack Blades (Night Ranger, Damn Yankees), Steven Tyler (Aerosmith), Bryan Adam, the band Skid Row, Robin Zander and Rick Neilson (Cheap Trick), and even David Steele (Fine Young Cannibals)!
'Dr. Feelgood' was the Crüe's one and only Billboard number 1 album, as well as being the most successful Crüe album ever (between 6.5 and 7 million copies sold worldwide and counting). Singer Vince Neil would be gone by the next album, (but would return years later. He's still there now)!
Grab this very nice and extremely cool rock collectible, but before it's gone for good! It is in nearly perfect condition. It comes from the 'Crücial Crüe' box set, and is complete with the original jacket and inner sleeve. Never played. Only taken out of the sleeve with gloved hands to photograph. Long live the Crüe. Mötley Crüe!
