Description
MOZART Sinfonia Concertante (K 364) and Duo in G (K 423), featuring Igor Oistrakh on violin and David Oistrakh on viola together with the Moscow Philharmonic conducted by Kyril Kondrashin.
It was issued on the stereo DECCA wideband grooved label in 1964, with 'Original Recording By' at 10 o'clock (ED1). Matrix numbers: ZAL-6135-1G & ZAL-6136-2G.
The disc is close to near mint condition with just a couple of very, very faint paper scuffs that are visible under strong light only. This copy has received very little play on top-quality equipment and sounds spectacularly throughout. Apart from a hint of low-level vinyl background and a few odd low-key tics here and there, there is nothing to fault.
The front laminated cover is in an excellent condition. Fully intact with general storage/age-related wear. There is also some tiny sticker on the rear, which I have not attempted to remove.
