MOTT THE HOOPLE - SELF TITLED : UK DEBUT LP 1969 PINK ISLAND ILPS 9108 STEREO
HERE WE HAVE A VERY NICE EXAMPLE OF MOTT THE HOOPLE'S DEBUT RELEASE ON ISLAND'S PINK TEXTURED LABEL WITH THE WHITE "i" LOGO. THE MATRICES FOR THIS PRESSING ARE A//2 - B// 1 . COMES IN ITS ORIGINAL GATEFOLD SLEEVE.
Vinyl has been professionally cleaned using my mk ll moth cleaning machine. This reduces static and professionally cleans deep to remove deposits. This enhances the quality of the sound leaving static free and crisp clear tones, as when the vinyl was pressed and was meant to be heard. It will also help to preserve your vinyl for many years to come. After cleaning the vinyl is placed in a new plain inner protective sleeve and sent along with any original sleeve / inner.

VINYL - is graded VG clean and retains a nice shine. Under strong light it shows light scuffing, sleeve removal scuffs and a couple of light surface marks. play tested and it plays through without any jumps or skips, some light background crackle on non musical parts. Audio is clear and clean though.
LABELS - are graded VG + the textured labels are clean , writing or sticker free. Shows light - moderate spindle traces under light. Pink colour and black lettering are bold and vivid.
SLEEVE - is graded VG strong with no splits or parting. There is a slight surface tear top right front ( see pictures) both front and rear are otherwise fine, no defacing or major wear. Inner gatefold opens with a strong intact spine. No defacing or tears, all print is bold and clear. Outer edges show some light scuffing, with both corners or the spine showing some scuffing, wear. Some of the print on the spine is rubbed, only slight wear, again see pictures. Over all in very nice condition for its age.
Comes in a plain new inner sleeve.
Over all a very nice example of this hard to find hoople debut album.
