Description

Artist: Mott The Hoople Title: Mad Shadows Label: Island Cat No: ILPS 9119 Year: 1970 Country: UK
This is the 1st ever UK Issue of `Mad Shadows` by Mott The Hoople released on the Pink Island Label with White `i` logo in 1970 the vinyl looks unplayed Matrix: Side 1 ILPS 9119 A2U - Side 2 ILPS 9119 B2U

Vinyl (NM/M-) Plays great with no sticks or jumps etc, Even under bright LED lights I can hardly see even the usual light sleeve removal scuffs, no feelable scratches! Comes with its original 1970 inner sleeve

Labels - Lovely Clean Pink Island labels, just 1 or two visible spindle lines, looks  hardly played
Sleeve (EX) - Original 1st issue Matt finish `E.J.Day` gatefold, some edge & rear ring wear, some sticky label damage (Please see photos for complete overview)

I use professionally made packers with card stiffeners & Bubble Wrap

The vinyl record will be removed from the album cover for transit purposes and plus both placed in a plastic sleeve

For worldwide buyers if you order more than 1 item I can combine them in the same package to save on postage

I use lots of photos to show as accurately as possible what you are getting

Gradings: I use the standard UK gradings as set out in UK Record Collector Magazine below:

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Near Mint,  EX+, VG+ etc are acceptable additions to help `fine tune` descriptions for the buyer
