Original 1969 U.K. original stereo pressing released on the pink Island label ILPS 9108.
Description :
Very rare and hard to find Mott classic that has become increasingly collectable over the last few years.
The band's debut album, Mott the Hoople (1969), which was recorded in a week, was a cult success, and their repertoire included cover versions of "Laugh at Me" (Sonny Bono) and "At the Crossroads" (Doug Sahm's Sir Douglas Quintet), and an instrumental cover of "You Really Got Me" (The Kinks).
Condition ~ Vinyl :
The vinyl is in super clean EXCELLENT condition with just a couple of the very faintest hairlines. Plays superbly throughout!
Condition ~ Sleeve :
The classic gatefold sleeve, drawn by M. Escher, is in overall great shape with just very light overall wear. EXCELLENT condition.
Condition ~ Labels :
Both labels are nice and clean with no writing and just light spindle marks.
