Extremely Rare Original U.S. MOTOWN LP from 1970:

"STRUNG OUT" by GORDON STAPLES AND THE STRING THING

MOTOWN RECORDS # MS-722, Stereo

Only a few copies of this LP were ever pressed, and it is one of the rarest Motown albums, and also one of the most unusual Motown items. Quite a collection of musicians and instruments on this release. Don’t let the instruments fool you—this is some great, funky, soulful stuff. This is also known as The Motown Strings, and this music was also used in the movie Mean Johnny Barrows.

The cover still has the shrink wrap attached, and is in excellent condition with a minor discoloration in the upper right corner and a small amount of minor dings. The vinyl looks excellent and appears to have rarely been played, although it does have a visible warp which does not affect the playing at all. This LP plays great! Also, still has the original Motown paper inner sleeve.

All records are shipped in a sturdy professional cardboard mailer with cardboard insert. We do not charge a handling fee.
