MOTLEY CRUE-Stick To Your Guns/Toast Of The Town 7" (1981, Leather MC-001) This is the ULTRA RARE ORIGINAL of the first privately released Motley Crue single on Leather Records (spelling was changed to Leathur for the LP.) Purchased years ago from a source close to the band in Grass Valley CA. where their management was based. GUARANTEED original, NOT a bootleg or reproduction. Vinyl is M- and Pic sleeve has flaws but considering it's age & rarity this still rates VG+ (maybe these sleeves were hand assembled?) VERY LOW RESERVE - Good luck & have fun bidding!
VINYL M- (inscription in dead wax side A: MC 001-A, R7224, JS.XTAL, L-5354 side B: R7225, MC 001-B, JS.XTAL, B-5354 X) There are tiny sleevemarks but no scratches, as if played once or twice at most.
COVER VG+ The front has a very faint stain above the letter Y and is slightly wavy, possibly from the glue used in assembly and the heavy paper, it doesn't look like water damage (paper is also shiny & hard to photograph, pic below is best I could do - actual item looks BETTER.) There is a 2" tear on back cover which is very hard to see unless carefully spread apart (see pic.) The band photos are CLEAR unlike the bootleg. If not for the tear I'd grade it as EX.
