I bought this iconic album when it came out and owned and played it ever since. Still plays well, but remember its not new so you can tell I rocked out to it! I was lucky enough to have all 4 original members sign the inner iconic SOTD photos when I met them. Nikki stole my sharpie, so i had to grab a couple pens for the rest of the band to sign for me. I have the original inner sleeve with lyrics too. The inner sleeve shows wear and tear over the years, but the color is still good and and all the copy is still very legible (see photos / it is from 1983). If you enjoyed the Netflix movie THE DIRT, this is a must have for a Crue head collector. Much of the book and the movie take place during this albums life time.

Shout at the Devil was Mötley Crüe's breakthrough success, bringing them to international attention. The album's title and the band's use of a pentagram brought the band a great deal of controversy upon its 1983 release, as christian and conservative groups claimed the band was encouraging their listeners to worship you know who. LOL The album was also a continuation of Mötley Crüe's participation in the early 1980s LA glam metal scene.
Shout at the Devil peaked at No.17 on the Billboard 200] The singles Looks That Kill and Too Young To Fall In Love, peaked at No.54 and No.90 respectively on the Billboard HOT 100 in 1984, while S.A.T.D. peaked at No. 30 on the Mainstream Rock chart. The album was awarded 4x Platinum (reaching the four million mark in shipments) on May 15, 1997.
