MOTIVES, THE: God Save Our Gracious Cream/I Can Hear Colours/Ice Woman/Baby Of the May (no label LP 1021, HOLLAND 1967) Actually a U.K. band incl. five RAF servicemen who were stationed in Germany (very close to the Dutch border). Lead guitarist Tom Winter was also in the Dutch group Opus. Almost impossible-to-find E.P. (100 copies only!!) on the Dutch Telstar label. Brilliant psych freakbeat stuff. "I Can Hear Colours" was incl. on WATERPIPES AND DYKES comp, while the other tracks appeared on ELECTRIC SOUND SHOW #2 and LET´S GO DOWN AND BLOW OUR MINDS 3-CD box. First extra copy I ever had. Unfortunalety not in the best condition, but plays decent. Comes with a photocopy of the original PS. Strict grading. Record(/Sleeve) = G+
I use the standard grading system, so M (mint), EX (excellent), VG (very good), G (good) etc. +(+)/-(-) = slightly better/worse then... Some Abbreviations that I use: wo(b)c = writing on (back)cover; wol = writing on label; toc/tol = tape on cover/label; rw = ringwear; soc/sol = sticker on cover/label; nc = no center; co(h) = cut out (hole).
