Description

Hi, you are bidding on a Frank Zappa, Mothers of Invention, We’re only in it for the Money album.  This album is a verified first pressing and the record is MINT/Looks Unplayed condition!  The jacket is excellent and the spine if fully readable.  The cutout insert is present and has not been cut!  A rare find in this condition, complete with insert, and looks unplayed!

Navy blue labels with silver print and 1.5" diameter press ring.

The typesetting layout used on the labels is slightly different from the other
similar versions: Mother Of Invention appears in one line.

There are no separation bands in between tracks, so both sides look like they
only have one very long track.

Initially came with an ''only money cut-outs'' insert. Some copies have a "Mothers" yellow sticker on top front middle of cover.
Track B1, Nasal Retentive Caliope Music, is mis-spelled on label, but spelled correctly as 'Calliope' on cover.
Track B4 is listed as "Lonely Little Girl" on the label and as "It's His Voice on the Radio" on the inner gatefold.

Catalog no. V6 5045X on rear cover and spine; catalog no. V6 5045 on labels.

In the text balloon on the cover Frank Zappa Says "Is This Phase One Of Lumpy Gravy?", making a reference to the album Lumpy Gravy.

The gatefold sleeve design is a blatant parody of the "St. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band"
LP cover by the Beatles.except that the collage that usually appears on the front cover, appears
in the center of the gatefold instead, and vice versa.

BAOI note: The sideways stamped block shaped "S" in the 8 o'clock position of the runouts
denotes a pressing by MGM Record Manufacturing Division.

If you are bidding on Vinyl Records, you should know that I do not sell vinyl that SKIPS!  Ever!  I listen and collect just like you do and have spent way too much on audio gear to listen to crap records and don’t expect you to either!   I Ultrasonic clean them so they sound great and I provide you with jacket covers  and vinyl anti-static covers (new), included in your bid amount.  DON’T be fooled by some other sellers and their descriptions.  I have had vinyl for 35 years that sound mint and brand new albums that sound awful.  This is due to improper cleaning!!!  Ultrasonic cleaning is the only method to remove imbedded dirt and give the vinyl a chance to sound well.  It’s worth the extra few bucks to have a cleaned vinyl with brand new anti-static sleeves!  MANY  brand new albums have marks on them  that do not affect play.  Buying an album with sleeve marks and needle marks is perfectly fine and they are still MINT or Near Mint sounding!   EXTRA BRIGHT light makes almost all albums show some imperfections but they don’t affect playability at all! I grade records in bright lighting, not quite NASA search lights but rest assured you will get what is described.

Please contact me if you have any questions or would like more pictures or details.  I describe listings exactly as they are and to the best of my ability!!  I do not mislead, that’s called a lie!  I provide extra high quality photos of expensive items ($250 and above) so you see what you are bidding on.  These are the largest sized photos eBay allows.

As per eBay rules, please contact me first for problem resolution prior to leaving feedback.  I provide excellent customer service and would like a chance to fix a problem.  If there’s a problem, contact me and I’ll work with you.  I’m a 1-man operation and your satisfaction is very important to me, as is your feedback!

I will leave feedback for you as soon as I receive yours.  I have found that feedback is not given, to me, if I leave feedback first.
