Motherlight (Bobak, Jons, Malone): same 1969, UK/Morgan Blue Town BT 5003. Disc is in lovely M- shape, it looks barely touched! The notoriously fragile textured flipback cover has some soiling, a sticker pull on the front, and the top seam is worn/splitting, this cover gets a VG grade. Has a poly-lined inner sleeve that I assume is the original. Very rare underground LP was put together by multi-instrumentalist Wilson Malone (Orange Bicycle), and guitarist Mike Bobak (Pussy) during off-hours at Morgan Studios, where they both did sessions. Studio engineer Andy Jons is seemingly credited for his ability to make these two guys sound like a full band, though with a talent like Malone on board this was probably not that difficult. His playing (keyboards, bass, drums) is inspired throughout and voice bears a close resemblance to Peter Gabriel's. A remarkably druggy sounding early prog LP with "On A Meadow-Lea" being a total trancemaker... the eerie whistling sound lurking in the mix is so off-kilter at times it makes you feel dizzy. This is one of the great ones of the era to my ears, a personal fave.

I ship all records in strong cardboard mailers with cardboard flats added to increase stability. The discs are always removed from the jackets to prevent seam splits, and all albums are dressed in plastic sleeves for travel. Please be aware that these supplies are expensive to purchase and represent a small portion of my shipping charges. I pack/ship one day per week, usually it is Friday.

USA: I can send this LP to you by Media Mail for $4.00, or by Priority Mail, which will be calculated after the auction using your zip code. Most of my customers prefer Media Mail because it is very cheap. Please keep in mind that it's cheap because it is SLOW. I have had Media Mail boxes take a month to travel 30 miles and in excess of two months to travel cross-country.
CANADA: If you are in Canada, I can send this LP to you by 1st Class Airmail for $8.00.
MEXICO: If you are in Mexico, I can send this LP to you by 1st Class Airmail for $12.00.
EVERYWHERE ELSE: If you are not in the USA, Canada, or Mexico, I can send this LP to you by 1st Class Airmail for $16.50.
