Description
Up for auction is a long out-of-print Mosaic Records Box Set of " The Complete Candid Recordings of Charles Mingus” The Catalogue Number is MR4-111, and consists of 4 vinyl LPs. This is one of a limited edition of 7500 (early Mosaic sets, including this one, were not hand-numbered).
The second photo shows the contents of the box set being auctioned. The LPs and LP-sized booklet are all in NEAR-MINT condition. Only the first LP appears to have been play, the rest appear unplayed! The outer box does show signs of shelf wear (or surface rubbing), but is otherwise in Excellent condition: the spine is intact, and the box has no splits.
Box set will be shipped in a protective polyethylene sleeve and inside a very sturdy 14" x 14" x 4" box with packing "peanuts" to ensure that the set (especially the corners) arrives undamaged. The net weight of the box set is 2 pounds, 1 ounces. The shipping weight will be approximately 3 pounds.
All buyers also required to pay $2.00 charge to cover cost of special 14x14x4 shipping box. USPS Insurance is available upon request. Flat shipping rates are as follows:
