MORTEM - Demon Tales LP (Black Vinyl)
MORTEM from Lima/Peru started already in 1986, but it took 9 years before they launched their debut album ''Demon Tales''
into the shops.
MORTEM is definitely a name that should be firmly memorized especially by those fans who still adore SEPULTURA's early works ''Morbid Visions'' and ''Schizophrenia''.
Heavy, rough Death/Thrash Metal with bonds from POSSESSED, SLAYER, NUNSLAUGHTER or ANCIENT RITES is the program here.
The band does their thing amazingly uncompromisingly and for that reason deserves total recognition.
The production is clean, punchy and incredibly transparent, and the musical skills of the foursome are beyond any doubt.
So if you don't always adapt your music taste to the current trends and you lovely to listen the one or the other good old Thrash Metal classic out from your closet, the 10 songs on ''Demon Tales'' will serve you well.
