HERE WE HAVE A SUPERB UK HMV (CSD 3790) FIRST PRESSING (July 1992) OF MORRISSEY'S TREMENDOUS, "Your Arsenal" LP. ONE OF HIS FINEST SOLO ALBUMS

PRESSED ON QUALITY MID-WEIGHT VINYL WITH DEEP CUT GROOVES WHICH DELIVER OUTSTANDING AUDIO, THE VINYL HAS THE FIRST ISSUE A-3-01-1 / B-1-1- 2 MATRIX NUMBERS AND IS HOUSED IN THE ORIGINAL GLOSSY SLEEVE, COMPLETE WITH THE ORIGINAL PICTURE INNER SLEEVE (a photo of "The Respectable Gangster" Charlie Richardson, circa 1962)

Morrissey bounced back from the lackluster Kill Uncle with the terrific Your Arsenal. A dynamic, invigorating fusion of glam rock and rockabilly, Your Arsenal rocks harder than any other record Morrissey ever made. Guitarist Alain Whyte's riffs swagger with a self-absorbed arrogance, and producer Mick Ronson gives the music a tough, stylish sheen -- it may be a break from Morrissey's jangle pop, but the music is sharper than at has been since the Smiths, and so is Morrissey's pen. Running through his trademark litany of emotional, social, and personal observations, Morrissey is viciously clever and occasionally moving. And the songs -- whether it's the rush of "You're Gonna Need Someone on Your Side," the menacing "We'll Let You Know," the spare rockabilly bop of "Certain People I Know," the gospel-tinged "I Know It's Gonna Happen Someday," or "Tomorrow" -- are uniformly excellent, forming the core of Morrissey's finest solo record and his best work since The Queen Is Dead.

LABELS: SUPERB condition. CLEAN and BRIGHT with NO wear, NO writing and only light spindle traces
VINYL Visual: The surfaces have their original DEEP, GLOSSY SHEEN. There are some superficial light marks but these have absolutely NO audio consequence WHATSOEVER. Visually EX
VINYL Audio: SUPERB audio delivery - CRYSTAL CLEAR, VERY SHARP and VERY STRONG. There are NO scratches, NO jumps, NO sticks and barely any surface noise (really hardly ANY). The album plays BEAUTIFULLY THROUGHOUT with SUPERB clarity and NO distortion or groove-wear. This must be graded EXCELLENT+ for audio and NOT over-graded in ANY way as I use STRICT RECORD COLLECTOR grading standards (please refer to my feedback and 'about me' page)
SLEEVE: The glossy sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition. Minimal edge wear and corner bumping. CLEAN and UNMARKED with unrubbed deep glossy surfaces. VERY NICE SLEEVE
INNER SLEEVE: Never actually housed the vinyl - which is in a separate inner sleeve - so it is in MINT condition with NO marks, NO wear and NO splits
