Zum 30jährigen Firmenjubiläum von Century Media Records hat sich das Dortmunder Label mit der portugiesischen Gothic Metal Legende MOONSPELL zusammengetan, um das großartige Debüt „Wolfheart“ endlich wieder auf Vinyl erhältlich zu machen. Die ultimative Version dieses musiskalisch noch zwischen Black und Gothic Metal changierenden 1995er Albums bietet dabei sowohl für Neueinsteiger als auch Fans der ersten Stunde einige feine Extras: Auffälligste Veränderung ist das Cover-Artwork von Axel Hermann (Asphyx, Unleashed, Grave…), welches zum ersten Mal in seiner tatsächlichen Kolorierung sichtbar ist und eigens für diesen Release hochauflösend verarbeitet wurde. Schon die CD-Erstpressung von 1995 hatte durch den zu dunklen Druck zahlreiche Details verschluckt, und die Vinylversion von 2010 war bläulich nachkoloriert worden. Darüber hinaus verrät Sänger Fernando Ribeiro in den Liner Notes mehr über „Wolfheart“, und Patrick W. Engel / Temple Of Disharmony (Tiamat, Iced Earth, etc.) masterte das Album sowie die auf der zweiten LP befindlichen 1995er Live-Aufnahmen speziell für Vinyl. Das Originalalbum auf CD sowie ein Poster sind weitere Extras dieser aufwändigen Neuauflage!
Right on time with Century Media’s 30th anniversary in 2018, the label has teamed up with MOONSPELL to present you the ultimate vinyl edition of the band’s classic debut album “Wolfheart” (1995)! This version offers a whole lot of treats for all fans of the leading Portugese metal act: The original artwork by Axel Hermann (Asphyx, Unleashed, Grave…) was re-scanned especially for this release revealing its original colouring and all its intricate details for the first time! Apart from that, it includes personal liner notes by MOONSPELL vocalist Fernando Ribeiro, was mastered for vinyl by Patrick W. Engel / Temple Of Disharmony (Tiamat, Iced Earth, etc) and also comes with a huge artwork poster, a second LP with authentic 1995 live recordings and the original album on CD.
