Description

MOONSHINE FORESTRY OUTFIT -- Wondering Why / Bop Bop Do-Wae-Doo -- ex. rare, original late 1960s U.S. 45 RPM single.  The Moonshine Forestry Outfit were a pair of Detroit, Michigan-area high school teens who, dissatisfied with all the long-haired rocker posturing of the late Sixties, recorded this lovably deranged Outsider Folk-Psych gem.  The record's style is something like an American version of the Incredible String Band with elements of Zappa and Beefheart thrown in.  Band member Eric Wrobbel later put out several sought-after private press 45s and LPs.  Goes without saying that this sold in very, very small quantities in the Detroit area when it first came out -- and copies today are nearly non-existent.  Get it while you can.  In generic sleeve.  Record:  VG / VG+, light surface wear, overall clean and plays very well, on Distortion private label, U.S. press. For Overseas Buyers:  record must be sent with signature delivery confirmation, many thanks.
