This record is in excellent+ condition. It has a few(4-5 max) faint spindle marks visible on the labels but there are no pen marks, scuffs or fading to either side. The centres are not loose or worn and overall the labels are clean, bright and in great shape.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides are very clean overall and have nothing remotely serious showing in normal light. There is a few very faint wispy lines just about visible but nothing of any seriousness and overall it is in great shape. These few lines and minor signs of use show under bright light along with a few more, but again nothing remotely sinister. So overall the record is in great shape, has no nasty scuffs, serious marks or blemishes and has a beautiful vivid lustre.
I play tested the record and it played really well and sounded superb throughout. It lays flat on the deck but upon playing there is a very small amount of upward movement in the record arm noticeable on both sides. This is minor of course and is nowhere near a level to cause issues to playback or the audio itself. The audio produced is excellent and of great clarity. Its crisp and defined with only a minor amount of light surface noise or interference in the run in and between some tracks. There is little in the actual audio with only very occasionally the most minor amount picked up. Overall it was a quality play test with crisp, clear and defined audio throughout. There is no distortion caused by excessive use and of course there are no skips, sticks or annoying clicks. It was a pleasure to play test such a great sounding rarity with so many underrated songs(and samples).
The gatefold sleeve is in very good+ condition. It has a little rubbing and wear to the edges and corners but the writing along the spine is all legible. There are no splits and no tears, scuffs or pen marks anywhere. There is minimal creasing, barely any ring marks and overall it is clean, bright, strong and in good shape. It does however have slight 'wobble' to the rear section. This is fairly minor and is not drastic but is noticeable to the touch. I have tried to capture it as best I can in the pictures above so please view these to get an understanding of the issue. It also has a hint of fading in places but considering its age this is not extreme and overall it appears tidy all round. Please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible as to its condition.
It includes its original CBS inner which is in very good+ condition. This has no tears, splits or pen marks and appears decent enough but does have some creasing and age related discolouring.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.
