Moondog ?– Moondog And His Friends

THE VINYL :   Both sides of Moondog's debut album retain much of their original gloss.   Bright yellow / black Epic labels, with moderate spindlewear evident.  Present are some light scratches, such that  Side A is VG+  (with a 1A Stamper).   Side B is EX (with a 1C Stamper), and has fewer of these marks.

There are no deep marks on either side.


THE COVER :  EX :   Moondog invented a percussion instrument that he named the Trimba.  While I am not certain, it appears that he is depicted playing the Trimba in this front cover photo.  Wikipedia  has a biographical sketch of Moondog that is worth reading- Louis Hardin was an exceptionally clever and colorful musician.

The front cover is laminated , with a paper back / some minor front cover scuffing / the back cover shows some age-related yellowing / all of the seams are intact / there is no paper loss / no writing or stains.
