The Beatles Revolver LP was the 7th album released by the fab four on the 5th of August 1966. It reached number 1 for 7 weeks and stayed in the charts for 34 weeks. It was going to be called "Abracadabra" but this title was already being used.

W-O-W...this is a really early pressing of this album.
It puts to rest the dispute of whether 1st pressings have DR or DOCTOR.

Professionally cleaned with Pro-Ject VCS MkII Vacuum Record Cleaner.
There are a few light marks to her, however, after I played her-all the way through-I CERTAINLY DID NOT FIND ANY SKIPS OR JUMPS....On my Focus One deck.
She does have some very occasional background noise, but not a great deal at all. Lovely raw sound from an incredibly early pressing of a revolutionary album!!

Now here's the really rather rare part too...It has the much more difficult to find "Ernest. J . DAY & Co." cover!
These were printed at about a ratio of 10:1 in comparisson with the more usual Garrod & Lofthouse sleeves.
They have wider flipbacks-RARE AND IN FAB CODITION TOO!

There are some small crescents of spidering to the laminate near the opening, with some small fingers of spidering eminating from the spine.....She really is solid.

The sleeve also reads "Dr Robert."
