MONO The Small Faces OGDEN’S NUT GONE FLAKE Immediate UK 1st pressing with lilac labels with upside down matrix numbers and gimmick cover with all 5 panels present! True first pressing as indicated by the light "lilac" colored labels as opposed to the later pink versions.
Super rare UK edition in great shape! This is a more robust and rocking version than the U.S. or Stereo UK versions. Heavier bass and more prominent vocals here. The U.S. edition sounds especially dreadful compared to this one.
VINYL in VG+ condition with scattered light paper scuffs that are scattered but for an area f side two where there is a section of what looks like someone removing the vinyl from the sleeve, scuffs only, excellent sound quality! There is a faint name in pen on the labels "John", and a "J. Grant" written in light pen on side 1.
COVER in VG with all 5 panels present, but are taped with older tape that has yellowed and is stuck to some of the surfaces. The panels can be opened and stay together because of he tape.. There is a name written in black ink "Janet" on one of the panels (see photos), and on the blank segment there is a stamp of a UK second hand store "George's", and a previous owner wrote down the song titles, credits, and musicians in pen (pretty cool!). The panels have a bit of wear around the edges, and some creasing. The back panel has J. Grant again, but with the "Grant" crossed out and another name written in blue pen with a 15/- 75np written after.
The vinyl will be in a mo-fi sleeve, the record is in a super thick poly sleeve for protection.
Will be safely packed in proper mailer with record removed from the sleeve to prevent splitting.
